According to the FBI, in 2022 there were 359,094 NCIC entries for missing children. * In 2021, the total number of missing child entries into NCIC was 337,195. * This number represents reports of missing children.
In 2021, of the 25,000 children reported missing to NCMEC who had run away, 1 in 6 were likely sex trafficking victims.

Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Among Minors
Nearly 1 in 7 students reported ever misusing prescription opioids, and approximately 1 in 14 students reported misusing them during the past 30 days.
The number of drug overdose deaths increased by nearly 30% from 2019 to 2020 and has quintupled since 1999. Nearly 75% of the 91,799 drug overdose deaths in 2020 involved an opioid.

We work with care providers to identify and track risky behaviors among minors who have become involved in nefarious activities. A large part of this service involves social network analyses.
