Digital Data Forensics

What is it?

Digital Forensics is the application of science to the identification, collection, examination, and analysis, of data while preserving the integrity of the information and maintaining a strict chain of custody for the data.

The application of computer science and investigative procedures involving the examination of digital evidence – following proper search authority, chain of custody, validation with mathematics, use of validated tools, repeatability, reporting, and possibly expert testimony.

Geo Tracking of Individuals

Determine general locations of people using actively and passively.

Analyzing Historical User Activities

Characterize how individuals are using applications and their digital devices. This includes tracking phone calls, texts, or emails traveling through a network

Digital Data Evidence Production and Recovery

Retrieval of digital evidence is information that is stored on, received, or transmitted in a digital format by an electronic device. Recover text, image, database, video, system information, and/or database files that have been deleted or hidden.

Locate Missing Persons

In 2022, the number of missing person files in the United States equaled 546,568 cases, an increase from 2021 which had the lowest number of missing person files in the U.S. since 1990. We work with families and law enforcement to track missing individuals by analyzing their online activity.

Recovery of Deleted Information

 We can document abd recover deleted evidence for court submission and provide documentation of destruction.

Provide Court Evidence

We provide documentation for prosecutors or attorneys involved with a case. These reports will include details about the evidence collected during an investigation as well as any analysis performed on it.

We can provide detailed accounts of individuals’ communication and digital activities (e.g., web searches).

We can determine the veracity of digital images, communications, and files by evaluating meta data.
